Schuyler County

Burdet, Odessa, Montour Falls, and more. Situated right between Ithaca and Hammondsport, the largest village is Watkins Glen. Watkins Glen is on the southern tip of Seneca Lake which is one of the deepest Finger Lakes going over six hundred feet. This quaint village has many interesting places to shop, eat, and just watch the people go by. Many restaurants from a local pup that has great wings and in my opinion the best onion rings. To Italian, Chinese, and breakfast cafe. On the southern end there is the entrance to Watkins Glen gorge with a trail through the gorge that has over seven hundred steps,  so bring good shoes. Going up to the Watkins State Park you will pass the Seneca Lodge and restaurant. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner during the summer and Paul Neuman tipped a few beers here. If you go south out of the village up State Route 414, at the top of the hill  you will be close the the entrance of the race track which is busy all summer long. On the left is FLX a great place to go on golf carts, play put put, throw axes, play corn hole, and have a drink. If you work from home high speed internet is available in the area. Some of the team lives in the area and has a lot of experience to show you around.
